Bystander Shot Through Wall Of Philadelphia Home, Police Say

A bystander sitting in his home was among the three people shot in North Philadelphia on Monday night, Feb. 26, city police told Daily Voice.

Officers were called to the 2700 block of West Montgomery Avenue around 9:45 p.m. for shots fired, the department said. 

They arrived to find a 29-year-old man shot in his left knee and right arm, authorities said. Police drove the man to Albert Einstein Medical Center where his condition was stabilized. 

The bystander, 21, was grazed along his left thigh while inside a residence on the 1800 block of North Marston Street, according to PPD. He was also taken to the hospital in stable condition. 

A third victim, 28, later walked into Temple University Hospital with gunshot wounds to his right arm, police continued. Authorities said he is in stable condition. 

Investigators collected evidence on the 2700 block of Montgomery Avenue and around the corner on North Marston Street, they added.
